A strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child
A Council PTA is a group of Local PTAs organized under the authority of Texas PTA. We are here to unify and strengthen Local PTAs and to provide for the conference and cooperation of the Local PTAs so as to create a public opinion favorable to the interests of child welfare. We encourage child welfare projects in the various Local PTAs and assist in the formation of new PTAs. The Council PTA promotes the interest of the national PTA and of the Texas PTA.
Notes! The council is hosting two Leadership Orientation Trainings for new board members September 9th. The first class is from 11a-1p and you can bring a lunch if you like and the second is from 6p-8p. Please contact us if you would like to take this class.
The council PTA's first meeting is September 27th and we have decided to provide Officer and Chairman Training following this meeting. So gather the troops and get the information you need to have a successful year in your new position!
