To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
A Council PTA is a group of Local PTAs organized under the authority of Texas PTA. We are here to unify and strengthen Local PTAs and to provide for the conference and cooperation of the Local PTAs so as to create a public opinion favorable to the interests of child welfare. We encourage child welfare projects in the various Local PTAs and assist in the formation of new PTAs. The Council PTA promotes the interest of the national PTA and of the Texas PTA.
LEISD Council Goals:
1. Educate local boards on purpose and value of our council PTA.
2. Build relationships between local PTAs through community events and social networking.
3. Increase principal and teacher support in local PTAs.
4. By example, move the Little Elm PTAs focus more in line with Texas PTA.
5. Recognize the work and dedication of local PTA members and volunteers within our community.
